About the Citizens Advisory Committee

公民咨询委员会 (CAC) 由 RTA 董事会授权设立，并根据 RTA 的授权立法成立。CAC 的职责是就与会员社区相关的交通问题向 RTA 提供建议，提出改善交通服务的建议，并倡导增加公共交通资金。

该委员会由来自各县的代表组成，他们代表着公共交通使用者群体的重要群体。CAC 的组成和宗旨已明确载于 RTA 的授权法 PA 387 (2012)。

Interested in joining?

The CAC meets bimonthly on the second Monday of the month. Regular attendance is expected. Members have the opportunity to volunteer for subcommittees and advisory roles as liaisons to major RTA planning projects. Beyond general membership meetings, CAC members are expected to contribute at least five additional hours every month in public engagement and education activities.
