What to know about app that can help commuters plan trips easily in Detroit
If you take a bus, the Q-Line down Woodward or the People Mover around Downtown Detroit, there is a way to make that trip easier. The RTA has launched a partnership with Transit app. The app lets you check schedules, plan trips and get real-time alerts. It works for DDOT, SMART and the Detroit People Mover. For the first time, riders can now use a single app to navigate all public transportation options in Southeast Michigan. The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan announced Wednesday a partnership with Transit App, a mobile application that helps users navigate public transportation. It offers real-time bus and train tracking, trip planning and service alerts.
