How to Ride

Pay online, with the Transit app, or at the station, and then follow the instructions to pick up a bike at any one of MoGo’s stations. If you have a code, you can enter it at the docks where bicycles are stationed. The dock will buzz as the light turns green to show it’s unlocked.

Next, grab the seat or the handlebars and pull forcefully back to remove the bike from the dock. Ride safely, then return your bike to any station. Make sure you see the light on the dock turn green to signify that it has been checked in properly.

Want to learn bicycle riding 101, or advanced skills to feel confident with city cycling? MoGo Street Skills classes are led by a certified instructor of the League of American Bicyclists. Bring your own bicycle or borrow a MoGo bicycle at no cost to feel safer and more confident.

Please note: MoGo also has electric pedal-assist bikes. Though they’re capped to not go too fast, exercise caution if this is your first time on an e-bike.
