Sin embargo, esta propuesta electoral fue rechazada por un estrecho margen. Desde entonces, la RTA ha seguido elaborando los RTMP bas\u00e1ndose en la evoluci\u00f3n de las aportaciones y tendencias. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2021, la RTA complet\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis estrat\u00e9gico de los principales corredores de transporte regional y su competitividad para el programa de Subvenciones de Inversi\u00f3n de Capital de la FTA de 2022. La abundante retroalimentaci\u00f3n recibida entre mayo y septiembre de 2021, que incluy\u00f3 4370 participantes en jornadas de puertas abiertas virtuales, sesiones de escucha espec\u00edficas y encuestas en l\u00ednea, condujo a la creaci\u00f3n del Plan Maestro de Transporte Regional ADVANCE 2021. En 2023, la RTA simplific\u00f3 sus objetivos y reevalu\u00f3 el Plan Maestro de Transporte Regional (PTMR) tras la pandemia de COVID-19.
