The Board of Directors is the body that makes final decisions about the RTA\u2019s operations. The RTA’s 10-member board is appointed for three-year terms by the Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County executives, the chair of the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners, the Mayor of Detroit, and the Governor of Michigan. The Governor\u2019s appointee serves as a non-voting chair.<\/p>\n
