Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee advises the RTA and is helping guide the Regional Master Transit Plan process. The committee is a diverse group of stakeholders, including community and business leaders, elected officials, transit providers, and citizens from throughout the region. By representing a wide cross-section of interests and communities within southeast Michigan, the committee assures comprehensive representation in the creation of the plan and its strategies. The committee also serves as a sounding board to the RTA, confirming the themes and values gathered from the public. Finally, to ensure success of the planning process, the committee acts as community ambassadors to the groups they represent.
